Christmas flower

So I went out with my 2 besties to Birmingham mailbox for an amazing evening of fillet steak and cocktails just before Christmas for our annual girls night. Lush!  I had to show you the dress I wore! Was gorgeous and such a bargain. It was a midi dress from Primarni for an amazing £13!!!! Felt and fitted great. Definitely a thumbs up from the Blonde.  Sorry for picture quality as it was in a lovely place called Baccus Bar, but it is very dark in there. I will do another post with my Christmas outfits with hopefully better quality pics.  Also, just to let you know my laptop is sadly on its last legs and I need to get a new one, hence the lack of posts.  Hope you have all had an awesome Christmas and have a wicked night planned for New Years.  Samantha  xoxox

I am obsessed with these BEAUTIFUL babies from ASOS!   I have been searching for some lady like pointed courts for some time, but haven't found a pair that I have fallen in love with.... until now.   I spotted this pair on the amazing ASOS and had to order them. I couldn't choose between the two above colours, so I ordered both to see what they looked like and would then decide which ones I wanted to keep. Do you think a pair have been returned??? No way! At a bargain of £17.50 each in the sale it was meant to be! I think they have gone up to £18.50 now but are still in the sale.   They are to die for. I have quite wide feet so I find it hard to wear pointed shoes but these are perfect as are not too pointed. They are perfect with any dress or skinny jeans and completely make an outfit without taking focus off the clothes. I wore the black pair at the weekend and can not wait to test drive the nude pair either.   I am now covered for all outfits and all

Can we dance?

I have been busy sorting out the house for the move so haven' had chance to think about myself this week at all. Nearly done now as give the keys back the end of this week. Thank goodness.   Instead I have been looking to music to get me through (and keep me awake).   I thought I would share some of the tunes I have been listening too. Some new, some old and some classics.   Please don't judge me. ;-)   Enjoy.   Sam   xoxox     The Vamps - Can We Dance   Connor Maynard - R U Stupid   Jamie Woon - Shoulda   TLC - Scrubs   Little Mix - Move   The Veronicas - Lolita

Hair inspiration - The Olsen Twins

Image
I am still not happy with my hair colour or condition at the moment. I have been trying to grow it for the last 2 years and feel I am getting no where. But I must keep going with it.   I have gone from a far too yellow and very light blonde to a dark dirty blonde within the last few months and I am still not convinced. Looking back on photos from my birthday a couple of weeks ago I feel my hair colour makes me look even more pale than usual. I have been scouring the internet for inspiration and found it staring right at me.   I am slightly obsessed with the beautiful Olsen twins for many reasons. Style, height (yes they are midgets like me) , make up and most of all hair. I think I may just take in the above pictures to a salon and say 'I want this hair'.   Only thing left to do is find a nice local salon who doesn't charge the world. Mission or what?   Which Celeb has your favourite hair style and colour?

The New Venture

So....... the big news I was talking about a couple of posts ago........drum roll please............................   I have started my very own business.   Get Ready with Samantha Melsom   I have always been creative with hair, make up and of course you all know my love for nails. So, I thought "why not share my passion and earn a few pennies doing something I enjoy".   I will be getting local ladies ready for nights out, occasions and or keeping their nails looking lush.   It all started years ago when I used to do friends hair and make up for nights out, which was a common occurrence. Also, at the start of this year after having a shellac manicure for Christmas I bought all the equipment so I could do gel nails at home to save me having to pay ridiculous prices every 2 weeks to maintain my shellac nails and ended up doing my friends nails too. Then, a couple of months ago my mother in law was off to a 1920's theme garden party and

Top Birthday Shop

Well, it was birthday a few days ago and the girls know me far too well, as I ended up getting lots of Topshop vouchers. I just have one problem, I want EVERYTHING. They have so many gorgeous pieces at the moment I just do not know what I am going to use my vouchers on.   Above are some of my favourite things they have at the moment. But I love everything!   I think I will definitely be getting the mint green jumper as I have had my eye on that for months.   What is your favourite Topshop piece at the moment? What would you recommend I use my vouchers on?   Peace and love   Samanath   xoxox

Boyfriend fits

T-shirt- Primark Jeans - Topshop Shoes - New Look Necklace - Primark Blazer - Primark Bag - Topshop Went for brunch on my week off any it was a miserable day and tipping it down with rain so wanted something cosy. Boyfriend fit everything it was! I love a good oversized item. May not be the most flattering but I was definitely cosy.  This is one of my favourite necklaces. I think Primark jewellery rocks at the moment and has been for a while. Hopefully they keep it up.  Love and peace  Sam xoxox

Quick Sharp

Jacket - Miss Selfridge (old) T-shirt - Primark Jeans - Primark Leopard pumps - Primark Bag - H&M   Sorry for the bad quality picture but its a good old loo mirror shot. Just wanted to show you what I wore.   I was just popping out with the hubby so threw on this very quick and comfy outfit.   I must say I love Primark skinny jeans. They are a perfect fit for me, especially if I get the short length. Being 5ft 2, it's hard to fit good fitting jeans that don't cost the earth, and at £9 for a pair of jeans who can go wrong.   Sam   xoxox

Long time no see

I'm Back!!!!!   Sorry I have been away forever, I have had a really busy year career wise, with studying and seeking my promotion/ new role. But I am there now and settled in as a Mortgage Advisor at a new Building Society. Yay. Finally.   Anyway, on to more interesting things. It was our 2nd anniversary last week and went to Yorkshire for a couple of days to get away. We just chilled out, drank and ate to much and ended up visiting 3 museums. (Yes, we are total geeks!)   Here is what I wore (not for all three days mind). Photo is taken in the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester where we visited on the way home.     Dress - Primark Messenger bag - H&M (old) Brogues - Primark   I LOVE this dress. It has to be one of my favourite things in my wardrobe. What a statement and it is such a flattering style. Down the back there are little gold buttons as well, and we know detailing makes things look more expensive. I think it was only £13 as well!
