Samantha Blonde

          I am still not happy with my hair colour or condition at the moment. I have been trying to grow it for the last 2 years and feel I am getting no where. But I must keep going with it.   I have gone from a far too yellow and very light blonde to a dark dirty blonde within the last few months and I am still not convinced. Looking back on photos from my birthday a couple of weeks ago I feel my hair colour makes me look even more pale than usual. I have been scouring the internet for inspiration and found it staring right at me.   I am slightly obsessed with the beautiful Olsen twins for many reasons. Style, height (yes they are midgets like me) , make up and most of all hair. I think I may just take in the above pictures to a salon and say 'I want this hair'.   Only thing left to do is find a nice local salon who doesn't charge the world. Mission or what? ...

      So....... the big news I was talking about a couple of posts ago........drum roll please............................   I have started my very own business.   Get Ready with Samantha Melsom   I have always been creative with hair, make up and of course you all know my love for nails. So, I thought "why not share my passion and earn a few pennies doing something I enjoy".   I will be getting local ladies ready for nights out, occasions and or keeping their nails looking lush.   It all started years ago when I used to do friends hair and make up for nights out, which was a common occurrence. Also, at the start of this year after having a shellac manicure for Christmas I bought all the equipment so I could do gel nails at home to save me having to pay ridiculous prices every 2 weeks to maintain my shellac nails and ended up doing my friends nails too. Then, a couple of months ago my mother in law was off...

Hayley  came over last night with a couple of the other girls and she dyed my hair this wonderful colour. Semi-permanent so will fade, but I LOVE it!!!! The other half's reaction was to ask me why I had dyed my hair like a granny, but what would blokes know anyway!!! xxx

I hope you are all having an amazing Easter weekend and St George's Day. I have had a pretty chilled out one. Caught up with a friend that has just got back from serving time in Afghanistan with the RAF. Was so nice to see her after 5 MONTHS!!!! So proud of her. Been taking Tilly for some lovely walks, spending time in the sunny garden and relaxing. Just want bank holiday is all about. Actually got a groove on and gained an easel and some canvas' and even a round one thanks to a good mate. I will take a picture of the final product. Hoping it will turn out okay as it's for on my stairs. I am in love with the slightly scruffy topknot trend which is all the rage at the moment. I am a huge fan myself and love this style on me. Desperately needed a trim so managed to book myself in with the lovely Charles at Royston and Blythe again. He is brilliant, (and looks a bit like Edward Cullen). He's the one responsible for chopping all my hair off about 6 months ago. I haven't had it cut since as miss my long hair. He's amazing.... you should go take a visit!  These looks are awesome!!!! I have been obsessed with this nail varnish this week I can't get enough of it! Love it, it's so summery and goes with so much. Brightens up my day.
